Transparency
Parents and the public need to see how their resources are being used for our schools and the children who attend them. While on the School Board before, I fought for putting the agenda and budget online. I acheived these goals and pledge to continue to fight for transparency.
Science Camp
Outdoor education including Science Camp has been a major priority of mine. While on the School Board I worked tirelessly to raise donations to pay for Science Camp for kids who could not afford to go. I raised over $300,000 to pay for these kids to experiance education in a new way.
Meeting Student Needs
Every child is an individual. Their educational needs are as individual as they are. I will continue to fight for San Joaquin County's fair share of these scare resources.
